These terms apply when you use the BusyBee app. By creating an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use BusyBee
- You must be an adult (18 or older) to create an account. BusyBee accounts are for parents and guardians.
- Kids use BusyBee only through a parent's account, in kid mode, with the parent's permission and supervision.
- You're responsible for what you enter about your kids, and for keeping your parent PIN and sign-in details private.
Your hive
- A hive is your family's shared space. Anyone you give your invite code to can join it as a parent and see everything in it, so share the code only with your partner or co-parent.
- You can make a new invite code at any time, and the old one stops working.
Points and treats
Honey points and treats are just for fun inside your family. They have no money value, can't be bought or sold, and BusyBee doesn't provide any rewards itself. Parents decide what each treat means.
Fair use
Please don't:
- use BusyBee for anything unlawful or harmful
- try to access another family's hive
- disrupt the service or try to get around its security
- enter information about anyone without the right to do so
Your content
What you and your kids enter stays yours. You let us store and show it to the parents in your hive only so BusyBee can work, as the Privacy Policy describes. Task photos stay on your phone, and we never receive them.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Family → Delete my account. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after letting you know where we reasonably can.
No warranty
BusyBee is free and provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep anything important somewhere else as well.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or unexpected losses from using BusyBee, such as lost data or disagreements over chores. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and show the new terms in the app. If you keep using BusyBee after that, you accept them.
